This Refund Policy applies to individuals purchasing our Software for their own use in preparing for pilot aptitude tests and assessments.
If you are a business, organisation, or competitor accessing our Software for commercial purposes (whether disclosed or undisclosed), you are not entitled to consumer protections under UK law, and this Refund Policy does not apply to you. Any such use is prohibited under our Terms & Conditions and will result in immediate forfeiture of any payment made.
Where applicable, the clauses set out in this Refund Policy may be superseded by those clauses set out in our Terms & Conditions.
If a client becomes unhappy with their purchase of our Software, we would advise them to speak with us as soon as possible. A client may communicate with us by emailing us at [email protected].
In many instances, we will attempt to remedy the issue that the client is experiencing or to provide further guidance on how to make the most out of our Software, however, if the issue is not able to be remedied, the client may be offered a partial or full refund, subject to their circumstances. Any determination of the provision of a partial or full refund, where may be applicable, is at the sole discretion of PilotAptitudeTest.com.

We will consider all relevant factors, including:
- (a) The nature and timing of your concerns;
- (b) Your usage of the Software;
- (c) Your compliance with our Terms & Conditions;
- (d) Whether you have acted in good faith;
- (e) The specific circumstances of your case;
- (f) Our obligations under UK consumer protection law.
We will exercise this discretion reasonably and in accordance with applicable law, but our decision is final.
It is the responsibility of the client to communicate any concerns or faults with the Software as soon as possible. Failure to communicate any concerns or faults in good time may invalidate any rights that the client may have arising from the clauses set out in this policy.
We cannot offer refunds in the following circumstances:
- (a) Breach of Terms & Conditions: If your account has been suspended or terminated for breach of our Terms & Conditions, you forfeit all rights to a refund. This includes but is not limited to:
- (i) Providing false or misleading information during registration;
- (ii) Using a fabricated name or identity;
- (iii) Accessing our Software for commercial, competitive, or business purposes;
- (iv) Accessing our Software on behalf of a business, competitor, or third party;
- (v) Using our Software for purposes other than individual preparation for pilot aptitude tests or assessments;
- (vi) Sharing your account or credentials with others;
- (vii) Copying, extracting, or misusing our proprietary content;
- (viii) Any other material breach of our Terms & Conditions.
- (b) Change of mind after significant use: If you have accessed and used substantial portions of our Software content, we will ordinarily decline a refund as you have received the benefit of the Service;
- (c) Failure to meet prerequisites: If you did not meet the technical requirements (device, browser, internet connection) that we clearly stated before purchase;
- (d) External factors: Issues caused by your internet service provider, your device, or other factors outside our control;
- (e) Failure to communicate: If you did not report issues to us in a timely manner or did not cooperate with our reasonable attempts to resolve problems;
- (f) After significant benefit: Once you have substantially completed your preparation or achieved your goal (e.g., passed your assessment), refunds will ordinarily not be provided.
Nothing in this Refund Policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable consumer protection legislation. If you are a consumer purchasing for individual use, you have legal rights if the Software is faulty or not as described.
However, these statutory rights do not apply if you have breached our Terms & Conditions, provided false information, or used the Software for purposes other than individual preparation for pilot aptitude tests or assessments.
