What do we offer?

Do you have an assessment with a flying school, airline, military institution or aviation recruitment agency? We provide candidates with the opportunity to prepare for these assessments using our unique preparation programme, delivered through a web browser on a computer, or through iOS and Android applications.

Assessments at these organisations normally take the form of a computerised selection test, commonly referred to as a pilot aptitude test, assessing abilities relating to the piloting profession and therefore assessment criteria predominantly involves the analysis of hand-to-eye coordination, multi-tasking, memory capacity, selective attention as well as numerical, scientific, visual and verbal reasoning, and technical skills.

Our preparation programme provides a solid foundation from which to analyse your own skills and develop these skills prior to being assessed by an organisation.

Why are we the best?

Unlike other competitors, our organisation was established and continues to be run by industry professionals, with many of us having sat pilot aptitude tests in the past.

With our prior knowledge, and continued industry insight, in 2012 we created the first preparation programme for candidates who are being assessed at flying schools, airlines, military institutions and aviation recruitment agencies, enabling thousands of candidates to enhance their skills and therefore improve their chances of success.

We are passionate about providing the most comprehensive and cost-effective method for candidates to prepare for their pilot aptitude tests, and will continue to invest time and money into our business development to ensure that all candidates receive a first-class product.
How does PAT work?

Our preparation programme is delivered through a web browser on a computer, or through iOS and Android applications.

Within this preparation programme, candidates are provided with theoretical questions covering a broad range of relevant topics, accompanied by psychomotor and psychometric activities that will enable you to analyse and enhance your skills in preparation for a pilot aptitude test (computerised test) at a flying school, airline, military institution or aviation recruitment agency.

All content is provided in an accurate format, with theoretical questions provided in realistic timed examination environments and psychomotor and psychometric activities that correctly assess relevant aptitude. Results are displayed as clear, easy to understand text and graphs.

How accurate is our content?

We are committed to ensuring that our preparation programme remains the most beneficial and cost-effective solution to preparing for pilot aptitude tests.

My joystick will not work with Mac?
It should be noted that we do not provide third-party support for the installation or configuration of the Enjoy2 application, as stated in our Terms & Conditions, therefore, this support should be not be taken necessarily as correct, and we admit no liability should it make irreversible changes to your computer configuration.

Firstly, we recommend restarting your Apple Mac after Step 2 within our Installation Guide is complete, and ensuring that there are no conflicting applications operating that would also utilise your joystick.

After restarting your Apple Mac, open the Enjoy2 application on Mac. If your joystick is still not functioning correctly, disconnect and reconnect your joystick then do the following:

Within Axis 1 ‘Low’, select ‘Press a key:’ and press the left arrow on your keyboard.*
Within Axis 1 ‘High’, select ‘Press a key:’ and press the right arrow on your keyboard.*
Within Axis 2 ‘Low’, select ‘Press a key:’ and press the up arrow on your keyboard.
Within Axis 2 ‘High’, select ‘Press a key:’ and press the down arrow on your keyboard.

*You may find that your joystick reverses these inputs, therefore it is recommended to correct this by swapping the inputs (i.e. press left arrow on keyboard for Axis 1 ‘High’ and press right arrow on keyboard for Axis 1 ‘Low’.)

Unfortunately we regret to inform you that we cannot provide any further support on top of this, as Enjoy2 is an external application created by a third-party and not PilotAptitudeTest.com.

Please note: The Speedlink ‘Black Widow’ joystick is not compatible with the Enjoy2 application.
