The MTA test module incorporated into the VTS pilot assessment evaluates candidate understanding of mechanical reasoning, requiring the candidate to analyse technical illustrations of instruments and to confirm their actions or behaviours.

In particular, this test module evaluates mechnical-technical understanding and thus incorporates assessment of a candidate's understanding of basic technical laws.

The DT test module incorporated in the VTS pilot assessment evaluates candidate ability in reaction time, multi-tasking, and auditory monitoring.

In this test module, the candidate is required to respond to an array of visual, auditory, and physical stimuli.

During interaction with this test module, coloured circles appear at random intervals across a grid, requiring specific key responses whilst high and low-pitched tones demand immediate acknowledgment. Periodically illuminating pedals also necessitate prompt physical reactions.

In this test module, each code sheet contains a variety of randomly-generated values each organised into rows. The candidate must make comparisons between each sheet and ensure those values modified in the first sheet are also modified in the second sheet.
